It's Portland in March, of course it rains! I am at home relaxing.
I have a mountain of things to do but no motivation to do anything....
So I will share my progress on New Years resolution.
I made my resolution about a week ago to let go 365 things in 2015. Thus far, I got rid of 10.
Here are more.
Item #11. Nature Made Stress B- Complex.
I tried and tried.... But this makes me nauseous each time, even with full stomach. After reading something on vitamin manufacturing, I began to think these pills might be doing me more harm than good. I don't notice any boost of energy either, so there is no point in this.
Item #12. Lancôme blush
Lancôme blush subtil delicate oil- free powder blush. The color is"Shimmer Mocha Havana" and I liked the color... It is subtle color, which I like, and shimmer is almost unnoticeable which I also like. However... It shows so little I began to wonder why I use this product. I have another I like and use all the time (temptu s/b highlighter). So goodbye to this.
Item #13: 3 qt. aluminum pot.
This pot is a good quality product, so my BF gave it to me as he thought I might like it. I like it, but it's too heavy for every day use and I reach for a lighter pot every time. It's better to find a better owner than myself.
Item #14. Rummy card set.
Never once used this. I love card games, but not something I do on daily basis. There are a lot of local cafes which would appreciate donated games.... So will be donated.
Item #15: black sweater. Another item I got at clothes exchange. I feel this doesn't suit me, so back to exchange.
Item #16. 2 large liquid soaps.
Bought these during Christmas at Target. I thought I could use them... But I tried a sample size of Dove which I didn't care for (didn't lather well, smelled powdery). Caress soap, on the other hand, smells too perfume-like. So both.... Almost 2 liters of soaps I am getting rid of.
If anyone knows a good woman's shelter in Portland, please leave me a comment.
And lastly item #17. An empty bottle.
This looks like nothing, but it's huge. I have a thing (obsession!?) about containers, especially if it's unique, functional and cute. This one is definitely cute. It had a cordial my friend made over Christmas at least two years ago. Cordial was consumed and I washed the bottle to be reused. Well, I haven't, and after 2 years, I am taking this to goodwill.
It may look small, but I must remind you readers it's all about small things. Slowly chip away toward your goals my friends.
