Fitness gear and nutrition can be terribly overpriced, along with entry fees for races and trials - that's why I write reviews on races and fitness gears, so that others can benefit.
Question. Are they worth your money?
Disclaimer: This is unsponsored. I paid for these myself.
While I love the convenience of online shopping, I really enjoy shopping in person and being able to try them out. No worry about if they fit right, if I like details of designs, if I like fabric. I am particular and I want to love absolutely everything, even though they cost more!!
***speaking of cost.. if $50 for the outfit is still too much for your budget, try Target and Old Navy. They have some inexpensive fitness gear, among other things. If you are thinking about running, use every cent you can afford for the shoes that fits you perfectly (not necessarily most expensive shoes, but something you feel comfortable in). Especially if you are running long distance, having a well-fitted shoes may be able to save you thousand of dollars in future doctor's bills. As far as clothing, avoid cotton, avoid items with seams that sticks out (check anywhere that might rub - chest, thighs, stomach, cuff, sleeves), think layering. ***
BRA: When VS started to sell full support sports bras, they used to cost upwards of $60 I think. Since then they decreased the price down to $25 to $35, which is awesome. There are full range of color and coverage. I picked Incredible Sports bra ($35), which has full cup lined (non-removable which I like.. I am too tired of trying to put back removable cups back in the bra after putting them in a washing machine), it has mesh accent on the side, and clasp on the back which makes it easier to put them on and off. I am a little worried about the back clasp rubbing while running, so I have to try them out before a long run. Cups are pretty substantial (think miracle bra) so if you want your chest to be minimized while working out, these may not be for you. On the other hand, if you wish your chest was bigger, these can be helpful.
