Out of what I read/listen to in March 2016, my hands down favorite was Ken Haruf's short novel Our Souls at Night (published May 2015). It's quiet and eloquent, love story of a sort at an advanced age - I think all of us evolve no matter what our age may be. But people forget that. Because there are not too many books out there for this topic, I found it refreshing. It's a lovely book.
On a side note, is it me or do you all feel that books are ready to be optioned to become a movie as it's being read? I can totally see this becoming a movie with either Clint Eastwood or Robert Redford being the main character. Then it would be like Bridge of Madison County II. I never liked Bridge of Madison County actually. Kinda gives me a shiver.
Alright, that's all I have for now... happy reading!
