Here are three I tried.
Item 1: Pore Tightening Vitamin C Facial Toner:
Price: $45, on sale on Amazon at $17.49. Amazon link is here
Scent: citrus mixed with floral... It's not the citrus scents I adore unfortunately. It's mixed with something else, and it makes it a bit like a bathroom deodorant spray to me. The whiff quickly goes away though. I am sorry, this was one thing I didn't like about this product.
Texture: It quickly sank into my skin leaving my skin smooth, without any sticky residue. I love it.
Application: as shown in the pic, fine mist covered my entire face. I like the dispenser.
Overall: While I don't like the scent, I really like how my skin "drinks" this stuff.
Update: I kept using this spray for two weeks. I got used to the scent(my BF says "ooh, you smell like lemon" and likes it, so it's a plus), and I still like the fine mist and how it keeps my face moist and supple. I am kinda loving it now.
And now, I prepped my skin, here is the next step...
Price: $38, on sale on Amazon at $21.95. Link is here. For a serum, I think it's a bargain.....
Scent: grapefruit with a bit of sweetness. like it.
Texture: normal serum thickness in white translucent, absorbs right away.
This serum includes 20% vitamin C, 2.5% retinol, 2% salicylic acid (clears breakouts), and 3.5% niacinamide. I am having a mad skin breakouts lately, so curious to see if this will make a difference.
As this contains retinol, I will use this only at night because retinol would increase sun sensitivity.
After using the above two items, my skin is silky smooth... and here is the last product.
Size: 4 FL OZ (or 100 ml)
Price: $50 regularly, currently on sale at $20 Amazon link is here.
Scent: almost none. It faintly smells sweet, like coconut cake ;-) While 20% vitamin C is contained, it doesn't smell like citrus.
It also includes 5% niacinamide, 5% Hyalluronic Acid, plant stem cells, peptide complex, and MSM.
Application: I like the pump a lot, as I hate digging my fingers in a jar, or having to wash the spatula each time.
Texture: light cream. After you rub in, mine turned white color and I had to spend more time rubbing it in. Eventually it gets absorbed, leaving my skin very smooth.
I see a lot of vitamin C serums out there but not moisturizer- this is a welcome treat for me!!
Overall, I liked all three products, especially the serum is a great deal, and I love the citrus scent.
