Clay masks leave my skin soft and supple- this is true to all these products. And I like them all!
My surprise favorite is Oxy Daily Defense!! I got this on a whim and almost gave it away. Decided to try it once before doing that, and I am so glad I didn't.
It has 2% salicylic acid for acne treatment, ph balanced and gentle. Little scrub beads are a bit much and feel like it is trying too hard. (Multi tasking is overrated in my opinion) but they aren't too harsh- I have been using this as a scrubby face wash and really liking this.
When used as mask, it feels cooling sensation like peppermint oil. Yay.
Speaking of scent, I forgot this one....
Elizavecca Milky Piggy carbonated bubble clay mask!! Wah! It's a fun product ( it bubbles), but absolutely hated the smell, plus pig collagen freaks me out a bit. My least favorite clay mask for sure. Some people love this though...
No, will not repurchase.
One that I will purchase would be my favorite one... Which is this.
Pure & Essential Minerals Dead Sea Mud Mask! This one has Shea butter, aloe Vera and eucalyptus oil- it's refreshing, smells minty, and my skin feels moisturized (also contains sunflower and jojoba oil). This was sent for me for a review, not the cheapest of the bunches (but at $25 for 6 oz, much more affordable than GlamGlow). It's vegan as well. I love this stuff and would buy with my own money once I am finished with all the mud masks....
If you aren't into eucalyptus, here is another option...
Insta Natural Dead Sea Mud Mask. This one is also sent to me for a review. It has twice the size of Pure & Essential Minerals product, and similar ingredients (minus eucalyptus oil). This one has no scent. It works as well.
If you are DIY type, I would highly recommend Rustin Enterprises Earthen Clay. It's straight out calcium bentonite which you mix with Apple cider vinegar yourself. You can experiment with other ingredients to find what works the best for you!
If I didn't have busy career or anything like that I would be playing with this forever.
Lastly, two more Korean brands, both very popular items.
Innisfree's mask is from volcanic clay from Jeju, an island I went for a vacation several years ago- for that, Innisfree always have a soft spot for me. This item is also very mild. If you aren't into strong pull feel you experience when clay is drying on your face, this might work for you. Very mild formula.
Speaking of mild formula...
Content is harder than any other ones I listed here. Maybe it dried out faster because this is a sample size in a small container. This one is gentle, smells slightly like flowers.... I wouldn't buy it myself as it is easier to order others from Amazon (I live in the States).
That's it for my clay pack quick review!! Do you have a favorites? Let me know!
