Here are a few BB creams I tried recently, mainly Korean brands.... And my very unscientific opinions.
Rubelli Water Glow BB cream RMV $28, from Memebox. This BB cream seems gray ish to me, not complimentary with my skin. It's supposed to be waterproof and a bit sticky in texture.
Skin 79's Pink BB cream is pretty well known to be a good BBcream. It has gray undertone, and I accidentally put too much out- I looked like a dead person! Good coverage, not sticky, and no fragrance- and I can create a good sick person look if I want to call in sick for work.
After wearing it for a day, I came home and found my foundation creasing around eyes, making fine lines more visible. Yikes! Not only I looked sickly, I looked very old.
I think it is waterproof though, either this one or the gold (described below) was very difficult to wash off the swatch. So if you want to look sickly under the water, try this product.
Dr. Jart is also grayish for my skin, and bit sticky. It does look more natural than Skin79 though. I didn't like either brands' BB creams after trying samples.
Of all, I liked Tonymoly and Étude House BB creams the best of these bunch. Both of these have whiter finish to prepare for the foundation for brighter finish, which I think works best for my skin tone.
I will keep on trying new BB creams, and keep this post updated!
What is your favorite?
Lioele has a matte finish, which would be awesome in warm weather or oily skin.
Face it- besides my face looks shinier, it really didn't do anything for "color correction." A fail product for me....
