So yes, I am a big advocate for love in general, almost to a very annoying point to my friends' dismay. However, today I heard someone on YouTube saying "oh, I love bubble wraps!" .... That's just luck of expressive vocabulary, and even a love advocate has raised an eyebrow. Have a life, girlfriend.
So.... if you absolutely love bubble wraps, well.... go for it. See, I am eating my words now. I feel sad for you, but don't mind me.
- 25 minute long intermission is way too long, especially when there are two intermissions. How many glasses of wine would you like me to consume?
- I agree to disagree - Half naked men in blue tutus are still very weird.
- Hey Kevin, why did you have to bring up "people of color taking the center stage?" I think this might be in conjunction Misty Copeland being the cover of a major magazine - which in and itself is great, but the very fact you are mentioning it reminds me how rare this occasion is. It really should be so integrated that Misty Copeland is celebrated just because she is a great dancer, not because she is a great dancer of a color. What does a color have anything to do with it?
High points besides watching a great show- Anne Mueller fans rejoice (me!)!!
She choreographed a piece for Portland Ballet, which will be shown on May 22 and 23 at Lincoln Hall. Super excited to see this show.
Have a great weekend everyone! I recommend both PCS's Cyrano and OBT's Impact, if you would like to go out and be cultured. With such a nice weather, it would be so hard to stay inside this weekend though (it was 75F today!)
Oh, by the way, Friends of Lone Fir Cemetery is organizing Headstone Cleaning Workshop on Saturday, 5/16 at 11 am if anyone is interested.... I am not even making this up. Is this why people think Portland is weird? Don't know.. Maybe it's men in blue tutus.
